SHIELD EFFECTIVENESS (SE) TESTING

Pulsed Current Injection (PCI) Testing
Pulsed current injection testing is a method of evaluating the performance and resilience of electrical systems and equipment. It involves injecting a pulsed current and measuring the response to identify any problems or vulnerabilities. MIL-STD-188-125 Appendix B provides guidance on the use of pulsed current injection testing for evaluating the ability of systems and equipment to withstand HEMP events.
Continuous Wave Immersion (CWI) Testing
Continuous wave immersion testing is a method used to evaluate the performance and resilience of electrical systems and equipment under the influence of continuous wave electromagnetic fields. It is described in MIL-STD-188-125 Appendix C, which provides guidelines for performing this type of testing in accordance with military standards.
