HEMP Shield Testing

EPI now offers Acceptance Testing of HEMP Hardened Structures.

Engineers and technicians at EPI have experience in providing acceptance testing to meet the HEMP shielding effectiveness requirements of MIL-STD-188-125-1 and MIL-STD-188-125-2. EPI maintains sets of test equipment to test HEMP shielded enclosures, including a magnetic particle inspection test set and a SELDS test set for testing welding joints. Also, EPI owns appropriate transmitters, receivers, and antennas to preform standard shield effectiveness testing. HEMP Shielding is essential for mission critical applications where you still want to have a functional power system after a high-altitude electromagnetic pulse.
