Variable Frequency Motor Controllers (VFD)
We provide three major types of VFDs: variable torque, constant torque and flux vector drives. Variable torque drives are used for applications such as fan and pump motors. Constant torque drives are used in many material handling applications such as conveyers. Flux vector drives are used in positioning and precise control applications.
Medium Voltage Starters
EPI offers free standing reversing and non-reversing starters. Also EPI offers reduced voltage auto transformer starters to reduce starting current. These starters are incased in a NEMA 12 and NEMA 3R enclosure and EPI offers these units exceeding in 6000 hp.
